You might have noticed that Day 10 of the Mindful Advent Calendar was absent from your inboxes yesterday. Initially, I felt a sense of disappointment, almost as if I had let down a dear friend. After some deeper reflection, I realized the need to shift my perspective and ease the critical eye I often cast upon myself.
Yesterday, I made a conscious choice to prioritise my familyโembracing moments of play, sharing meals, comforting a teething and sleepy toddler in my arms, and marvelling at my preschooler's fascination with the animal-shaped shadows he created with his tiny hands. In that precious time, I intentionally set aside my phone and laptop to fully immerse myself in these cherished moments.
